This tool is used for cutting the groove in flat steel during shoe making. The groove (fullering) is used for the placement of nail holes and for additional grip when on the foot.

The Mustad fuller is also sometimes referred to as a creaser (particularly in the US).

Available in two styles - E-head and City head.
